I’ve seen the most timid and shy people I know go crazy because of hair on their food. A hair on a meal makes a person call the manager, simply because it’s gross.
It came to my mind not because I recently experienced it, but because I’ve been eating a lot lately (Haha!). Then I thought, what about the things that consume our mind every day. The things that we feed our minds every moment. When it comes to those things, do we have the same standard or do we try to make an exception? Apostle Paul urges us to have a higher standard to what we choose to put into our thinking:
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
Does it gross you out whenever it comes to those things that are not true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy that sometimes consume our mind?
It’s like a hair on your food. It should gross you out to the point that you can’t even imagine yourself eating a meal like that. Just thinking about it makes you wanna vomit already.
Let’s be careful on what we put inside our mind. What we think about.
